Bhahubali
Baahubali (English: Strong Shouldered) is surely an upcoming two-part Indian epic film that is to be shot back to back in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously. The film will also be dubbed in Malayalam, Hindi along with several Other languages.[2] The film is directed by S. S. Rajamouli starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah and Ramya Krishnan.[4][5][6] The film is manufactured by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works banner. Veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao is presenting the film. The soundtrack to the film is going to be composed by M. M. Keeravani. National Award winner Sabu Cyril has become recruited as art director for your film.[7] The film will probably be released that year 2015.[1]
Development
The director from the film Rajamouli and Prabhas done 6 or 7 subjects to finalize this project prior to release of Magadheera. As the director is really a perfectionist in choosing the right subject they finalized Baahubali.The director and the team selected a place hunt from the few parts of Karnataka and Kerala. After scouting some locations in Karnataka and Kerala, director with his fantastic team went to Rajasthan to scout more locations. Prabhas, Rana and Anushka did some research for the film. They practiced Sword fighting and Prabhas and Rana learned Horseback riding. By March 2013, Rajamouli was considered busy with the style of weapons which may be utilised by the leads.The filming of the film was then announced being were only available in June, 2013. As scheduled, Filming started on 6 July 2013 and Alexa XT camera manufactured by Arri (Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (A&R)) company is being utilized to shoot the film.
Casting:-
Prabhas was said to be sporting a healthy beard and a Humongous body structure to suit the title which was confirmed during the audio launch and promotional events of his previous film Mirchi where he appeared in a bearded and strong look. Anushka Shetty was recruited as the heroine of the film later who was also a part of Mirchi. She coincidentally became the first heroine Rajamouli repeated in his films and thus made her schedules full for 2013 and 2014 thanks to her simultaneous shoot for Rudhramadevi. She would be seen as Devasena in the film.Rana Daggubati was recruited as the antagonist of the film and he was said to be playing the role of Prabhas' brother and coincidentally he was also a part of Rudhramadevi. He too underwent a lot of physical transformation for the role he was assigned to play in the film. Tamil actor Sathyaraj signed the film, where he will be sporting a Tonsured look.kannada actor Sudeep is doing a small but important role in the film. He said that he would play the role of a weapons trader in this film.He shot for 4 Days in July 2013 for the film and had to fight with Sathyaraj in a sequence composed by Peter Hein.In April 2013, Adivi Sesh was recruited for a crucial role in the film as Rajamouli was impressed by his work in the Panjaa, which was released in (2011).Actress Ramya Krishnan was chosen to play the crucial role in the film as Rajamatha in August 2013. On 20 December 2013 a Press Note was released to coincide with Tamannaah's Birthday on 21 December 2013, stating that she is second heroine of the Film.
Filming: -
The shooting of the film has started at Rock Gardens in Kurnool from 6 July 2013.[2][29] A set was erected in Ramoji film city to shoot war sequences from 23 December 2013 until 5 March 2014.
Marketing
A 1 minute and 36 seconds Footage of the Making and its first look poster were released bilingually on 23 October 2013 to coincide with Prabhas' birthday occasion. Another Footage of making with Duration of 1 minute and 36 seconds focussing on Devasena character and other crew members was released on 6 November 2013 to coincide with the occasion of Anushka's birthday on 7 November 2013. The third making video spanning 1 minute and 37 seconds, a pre-production footage of the film was released on 13 December 2013 to coincide with actor Rana's Birthday. The first look poster of Tamannaah was released on 20 December 2013 to coincide with her birthday on 21 December 2013.The another Making video of the film titled SETera - How to climb an elephant ? with run time 1 minute and 16 seconds was released on 5 February 2014.
Controversy
The film is in legal trouble after a Jain mutt in Karnataka sent a legal notice against the use of the title. Bahubali is a revered figure in Jainism and has its origin in the Jain tradition of Karnataka. The Sode Matha, which has issued the legal notice, fears that the story of Baahubali would be depicted in a violent manner.
